Specialist lawyers from Birchall Blackburn solicitors in Preston raised over £1,500 for charity by offering their services free of charge.
Lawyers from the firm, on Avenham Street, sought donations for drawing up wills, rather than charging fees, to raise funds for the Will Aid campaign.
Clients pledged £40 for an amendment to an existing will, £90 for a basic single will or £135 for a pair of basic mirror wills.
Will Aid is an annual campaign run in November by nine charities; ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF and Trocaire.
Donations are shared out amongst the charities which go towards tackling poverty and deprivation in the UK and around the world.
Kirsty Thompson, solicitor at Birchall Blackburn said: “Will Aid is something we take part in every year and this time we have managed to raise more than ever before.
“Will Aid is such a worthwhile cause, as it means nine charities can be supported in the vital work that they do in making a real difference to people’s lives.
“Although this campaign only happens in November, we hope it spurs people on to realise the importance of making a will at any time. It’s so important to make sure your money and property goes where you want it to.”
