Birchall Blackburn Solicitors, a leading North West-based law firm, is delighted to announce a number of admissions, accreditations and promotions within its team to enhance the specialist legal expertise provided to its personal & commercial clients throughout the region.
The Private Client team has added to its legal expertise with the recent admission of Stacey Ashe, Tammy Jones and Kristina Smith as Solicitors, who all qualified after completing their training contracts with the firm.
Tammy is based at Birchall Blackburn’s Preston office. She specialises in Residential Conveyancing and has worked for the firm for a number of years.
Stacey and Kristina are both based at the firm’s Southport office and specialise in Wills & Probate, Tax & Trusts and Legal Services for the Elderly.
Rosemary Johns, who recently re-joined the firm following its recent merger with Chorley-based Kevill Kirkham and Grayson, has been accepted as a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly, the association of lawyers who specialise in providing legal services for the elderly. Rosemary specialises in Wills & Probate and Trusts & Estate Planning with a particular focus on Court of Protection work.
Claire Hamilton, who is based at the firm’s Leyland office in the Wills & Probate team, has been awarded a training contract with the firm.

Tony Coates, who specialises in Commercial Property and is based at the firm’s Southport office, has been promoted to the position of Associate. Tony has a wealth of experience in dealing with all manner of commercial property cases and represents clients on a national and overseas basis.
Anna-Marie Knipe, who heads up the Wills & Probate team at the firm’s Leyland office, has been promoted to the position of Associate. Anna-Marie is a member of the internationally-recognised Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and also of the national organisation, Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), providing the highest quality of legal advice for the elderly. Her promotion recognises her experience in the fields of Wills & Probate, Administration of Estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Estate Planning and creation & administration of Trusts.
