Our team of Human Rights lawyers has over 10 years' experience in bringing claims on behalf of people who have been subjected to unacceptable treatment by the police and other public bodies.

Our philosophy is based on our understanding that the highest standards can only be achieved and maintained if public servants are held to account whenever their conduct falls short of what we would all expect.
Honest mistakes by complacent officials can have devastating consequences for ordinary law-abiding members of the public but the inflexible nature of public bodies means they can sometimes be the hardest situations to resolve. We work with the authorities or their regulators to help achieve a solution to these problems to avoid costly Court battles whenever possible.
Compensation is rarely a motivating factor and that most people just want their problems to end. We recognise this and draw upon all of our experience to try to fix the problem first. If compensation is due, we represent our clients’ interests as firmly as possible in order to obtain it.
We are contracted by the Legal Services Commission to provide ‘legal aid’ for many types of Human Rights claim. Where such funding is not available, we will discuss the options with you, including ‘no win, no fee’ and insurance-backed representation.
