Birchall Blackburn Law, based on Victoria Street, has thrown its weight behind the City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club, donating £586 to help purchase new equipment.
The funding from Birchall Blackburn Law will go towards new supporting blocks and a vaulting table, which will aid preschool and disabled gymnasts during tumbling, vault and strength exercises, as well as assisting back flip and handspring performances.
Hayley Carter-Steele, conveyancing executive at Birchall Blackburn Law, said: “Gymnastics is a fantastic sport that’s inclusive for all and the work carried out by the City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club is instrumental in getting young children involved in competitive sport.
“Birchall Blackburn Law is committed to backing worthy initiatives and clubs at the heart of the local communities we serve, so it’s pleasing to extend a hand and pledge our support to the team.”
Marie Gardner, manager at the City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club, added: “The new equipment is an indispensable tool which will enable our gymnasts to train in complete safety.
“With ever increasing costs, clubs really welcome extra support, so we’re thrilled to have Birchall Blackburn Law’s backing. Without the helping hand of local firms we simply wouldn’t be able to continue the great work we do.”
