Supporting St. Catherine's Hospice
Birchall Blackburn were recently delighted to support St Catherine's Hospice in the preparation and distribution of their most recent publication, "Making it Count - A guide to Wills, Legacies and Bereavement".
This invaluable guide will be made available to patients at St Catherine's and also to their relatives. St Catherine's Hospice has been providing care for people in the Preston and Chorley area since 1985 free of charge.
Although St Catherine's Hospice receives NHS funding, this amounts to only 30% of the money required to keep St Catherine's hospice going. The rest is met by fundraising. The guide aims to sensitively highlight to importance of making a Will but also to demonstrate how individuals can leave a legacy to St Catherine's Hospice in recognition of its invaluable contribution.
The wills and probate team at Birchall Blackburn were delighted to participate in the guide and draw attention to the wonderful work carried out by St Catherine's Hospice.
