Whilst most professional advisors (solicitors, accountants, barristers, surveyors, etc) provide an excellent service to their clients, they are as capable as anyone else of making errors. Unfortunately, from time to time, those errors result in loss to their clients.
Many people still believe that to successfully sue a professional advisor is, in some way, more difficult than to against anyone else. Happily, that is not the case. All professional advisors have to carry adequate negligence insurance and are ethically obliged to co-operate with any potential Claimant.
