Sally Abrams, Family law specialist at local law firm, Birchall Blackburn, has relocated from its Preston office to its Leyland office on Hough Lane.
Sally will now be able to offer her expert legal services in this highly specialist area of law to local residents, directly from its high street branch. She has extensive experience in all areas of family law, including divorce & separation, contact and residence disputes, domestic abuse and cohabitation disputes.
She is a member of Resolution, a group of family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
Sally has offered Family legal services throughout the North West for more than 15 years, dealing with all types of family issues from divorce to children issues. She initially joined Birchall Blackburn in 1997 to work at its Chorley office where she became an active member of the Domestic Abuse Forum, often giving talks to local community groups on topical issues.
She then moved to a small firm in Merseyside where she specialised in dealing with high worth cases, often acting for high profile individuals.
Sally re-joined Birchall Blackburn in 2010 and was initially based at its Preston office where she was integral to growing the Family department. During this time, it became clear that there was a need for a permanent presence on the high street at the Leyland office where Sally is now based.
Speaking of her move, Sally commented, “I am delighted to have permanently relocated myself and my team to the Leyland office. Leyland is a vibrant town and I am dedicated to ensuring that we continue to offer our high level of client care and service to our existing and new clients in Leyland and its outlying areas, including Farington, Clayton-le-Woods, Bretherton and Croston”.
“We operate a free law clinic each Tuesday evening and Friday lunchtime to enable clients to talk through their legal issues. Feedback from law clinics held at our other offices has been that people have found them extremely helpful; accessing legal services at what may be a very difficult time in their lives is something that many people find uncomfortable, but our law clinics usually help to alleviate any concerns and in the majority of cases, we can work out the next step during this initial meeting”.
Birchall Blackburn is also able to offer publicly-funded Family legal services from its Leyland office and further details can be obtained from the team.
