BBLaw receive WIQS accreditation

Birchall Blackburn Law have received accreditation from the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS). This demonstrates our commitment to client care and our expertise in Wills and Inheritance law.

To achieve the accreditation, Birchall Blackburn Law went through a rigorous application and assessment process.

Unfortunately we see many clients who have been badly let down by unregulated and unqualified will writing companies.

The Law Society run many successful accreditation schemes that gives people confidence that they are dealing with experts in that field.  We know how important our existing accreditiations are to our clients so when the suggest of a Wills and inheritance quality scheme was announced we knew we wanted to be involved from the very start and gave our support to the proposed scheme during the early consultation stage.

When the scheme was launched and the application pack landed, we did wonder what we had let ourselves in for! We very quickly realised that our existing working practices, team structure, training and focus on client care meant that we were already 90% there.

Our clients are at the heart of what we do, so not only did the scheme have to be worthwhile, but it also had to have relevance to our clients.  In this area of the law we see people at veryupsetting times; either dealing with grief or a difficult diagnosis or making difficult decisions about their future. So we want to make it as easy as possible for our clients to communicate with us and have confidence in the service we offer.  Our WIQS accreditation is our chance to say to clients that we are professional and approachable; to confirm that they were right to choose us and to endorse the quality standards set by our professional body.

You can be confident when choosing BBLaw,  we have the stamp of approval from the Law Society. We are moving with the times, we know you need more from a solicitor and that’s why we’re always striving to improve our expertise and our service and will be always there.
