A Liverpool-based charity is causing a stir with its high tea and high heels party at the city’s luxury Titanic themed hotel on Thursday, March 26.
Neurosupport is holding a vintage tea party hosted by the popular Liverpool entertainer and comedian, Pauline Daniels, with live music from singer and actor, Steve Fletcher.
The event is being sponsored by Birchall Blackburn Law and will include a prize draw, jewellery and cake sales, and plenty of tea.
Neurosupport offers practical and emotional help to people with neurological conditions and to their family, friends and carers. The charity works tirelessly to raise awareness and understanding of neurological conditions caused by accident, illness, hereditary or genetic disease.
Nanette Mellor, CEO of Neurosupport, says: “Our fabulous high tea and high heels party is one of our biggest fundraisers and we hope lots of people will join us for the event. I’m also delighted that Birchall Blackburn Law has been able to sponsor the event. Without the kind support of companies, organisation and individuals, Neurosupport would really struggle to continue to help all the people that we do.”
Dianne Yates, Partner and Head of Serious and Catastrophic Injury for Birchall Blackburn Law, says: “We didn’t hesitate to support and sponsor the tea party. It’s not just our excuse to sip tea, eat cake and wear heels. The work Neurosupport does for people with neurological conditions is priceless. I hope that we’re given more opportunities to support the charity’s vital services and campaigning.”
Neurosupport is holding the annual tea party to round-off Brain Awareness Week (March 16-22), a global campaign to increase awareness of the benefits of brain research.
The tea party will run from 2pm to 5pm at 30 James Street. Tickets are just £35. To book please call Neurosupport on 0151 298 2999 or go to www.neurosupport.org.uk.
