Birchall Blackburn Law is looking to recruit two Administration Assistants based in the firm’s Manchester office to support our property team.
The firm encourages the successful candidates to undertake the CILEx Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services, specialising in Conveyancing in conjunction with MMU.
The successful applicant will provide general Conveyancing administration duties including supporting the residential conveyancing team, opening and closing files, updating case management systems, responding to general correspondence, photocopying, filing, post completion matters and answering the telephone. There would also be an opportunity to progress to legal assistant as more knowledge and experience is gained.
The apprenticeship scheme offers an alternative route into a career in law for those who do not wish to go to university. It combines on-the-job learning with academic teaching, and numerous options are available following completion of the apprenticeship for those candidates looking to progress to achieve further qualifications, such as becoming a solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer.
