Equity Release is often a misunderstood retirement solution that can be complicated and difficult to understand.
There are relatively few solicitors qualified to give advice – so it’s essential to work with a specialist legal adviser who acts independently and in your best interests to outline the nature and implications of your equity release plan.
What equity release services do we offer?
We help clients over 55 to unlock equity in their homes through equity release and residential conveyancing. We advise on two main types of equity release plans:
- Lifetime mortgages, which involves mortgaging the home and is secured on the property.
- Reversion schemes – selling the property, or part of it, but retaining the right to live there for the rest of your lifetime.
- Some clients also use equity release mortgages in connection with a house move and we can assist with the conveyancing as well as the equity release mortgage on the house being purchased.
We also deal with equity release remortgages for those who have an existing lifetime mortgage but can now get a better deal, and further advances where there is a cash reserve.
