Personal Injury – Preston
I originally joined Birchall Blackburn Law from 2010 to 2012 and rejoined in April 2013. In 2015 I was appointed Associate Solicitor and in 2017 was promoted to Partner. I am an experienced solicitor who has worked in the legal profession for over 18 years acting predominantly for Claimants but also having acted for Defendants. I handle a wide range of personal injury cases including Road Traffic Accidents, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability particularly where the injury suffered is serious. I deal predominantly with higher value serious injury work including claims involving brain injury, spinal injury, chronic pain and fatal accidents. I have a particular interest in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Coccydynia.
Qualifications and professional achievements: LLB (Hons), qualified as a solicitor in October 2000.
How did you end up working for a law firm? My dad was a magistrate and I became interested in the law as he used to talk about some of the responsibilities he had. As I developed even more of an interest, I went to the local Magistrates’ Court with him and watched a few cases from the public gallery and from that moment I was hooked.
Unusual fact: I am double jointed in my shoulders!
