Serious & Catastrophic Injury – Manchester
Qualifications and professional achievements: LLB (Hons) with Law Foundation Degree.
Specialist area of law: MOJ Portal Claims – I have previous experience of dealing with a large volume of fast track Employer’s and Public Liability cases together with Road Traffic Accidents and personal injury cases involving minors which settle by way of Infant Approval Hearings. I deal with claims from Stage 1 to completion. I have a strong working knowledge of the MOJ Portal and the Pre-Action Protocol for Personal Injury Claims. In addition, I assist other Solicitors in litigated multi-track claims.
How did you end up working for a law firm? I studied Law during my A-Levels and found that it is a subject which interests me enough to pursue a career in it. I studied Law at university as well and having completed my graduation I worked on three different areas of law, namely Conveyancing, Costs and Personal Injury. Having worked in a few different areas of law, Personal Injury was a sector which interested me the most as every case is a different challenge.
Unusual fact: I watch a lot of cricket and volunteered at the 2013 Ashes game (England v Australia) where I met a number of well-known cricketers and even got autographs from Shane Warne, Michael Vaughan and Michael Holding!
