Personal Injury – (Catastrophic Injury & Industrial Disease) Manchester
I joined Birchall Blackburn Law in 2013. I specialise in Personal Injury Law. In particular the fields of Industrial Disease, looking at RSI and Abestos Related Disease and Serious Injury, specialising in brain and spinal injury.
I work within the Catastrophic Injury team and also the Industrial Disease team specialising in high value, complex cases.
I was elected by my peers to be General Secratary of the National Conference of Priests of England and Wales in the early 1990′s. I was also elected as a City Councillor in Stoke on Trent during which I was Deputy Elected Mayor and Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development between 2004 and 2010.
Qualifications and professional achievements: Bachelor in Philosophy, Bachelor in Theology, Masters in Theology (Ethics) CPE (Law) and I am a member of the Law Society.
How did you end up working for a law firm? As a child in the 60s and 70s my Grandmother sized me up and said I should be a Lawyer, decades later her prediction become reality.
Unusual fact: I was a RC Priest for 18 years during which I was a Chaplain on the QE2 and appeared on Question Time.
