Free legal advice is being made available to residents of Preston, Leyland and Chorley with the launch of a new monthly legal helpdesk.
Birchall Blackburn Law has teamed up with St Catherine’s Hospice to give its visitors the opportunity to speak to expert lawyers on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Elderly Client Services.
The helpdesk will take place at The Mill at St Catherine’s Park on the last Wednesday of each month. This month’s session will be open from 2pm-4pm on Wednesday, January 27th.
Rebecca Minto, solicitor at Birchall Blackburn Law, said: “We know that dealing with legal matters can be daunting, particularly if a relative is ill. People often know that they need legal advice, but worry about the cost.
As part of our commitment to support the great work that St Catherine’s does for people who use the hospice and their families, we wanted to offer a free service so people could gain access to specialist legal advice from our team while they are visiting St Catherine’s.”
