Free legal advice is being made available to the residents of Preston from Birchall Blackburn solicitors through a series of free law clinics.
The Preston-based firm is offering these clinics throughout November to give people the opportunity to speak to an expert solicitor on issues such as divorce, employment and personal injury problems.
Attendees will also be able to get advice; on wills, issues affecting elderly clients, lasting powers of attorney and claims for industrial disease.
Sessions take place every Monday, 1pm to 2pm, and Wednesday, 4:30pm to 6pm at the Birchall Blackburn offices, 38-46 Avenham Street, Preston, PR1 3BN.
Cathy Maccracken is a partner at Birchall Blackburn solicitors and said: “We know that dealing with legal matters can be daunting, stressful and people often worry that as soon as they step into a solicitor’s office it is going to cost them a lot of money.
“That’s why we’re offering these law clinics, so that clients can come into the office for a chat and some basic advice on what their next step should be”.
“We have the expertise to offer the right help and guidance through what can often be difficult and complex situations.”
