I am a Solicitor and Partner in the Private Client Department at Birchall Blackburn Law, having qualified in April 2004. I began my career at Birchall Blackburn Law prior to qualification in 1998, working as a legal secretary in the Personal Injury department. I studied my LPC at the University of Central Lancashire and spent my earlier years post qualification working in Manchester City Centre. I returned to Birchall Blackburn in 2011 based in the Chorley office.
In addition to my legal qualifications, I am a full member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers (ALL), and a full professional member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
I undertake a varied range of Private Client work, including Wills, Trusts, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. I also have an extensive case load of Court of Protection matters, ranging from vulnerable and elderly clients, to children and adults with acquired brain injuries. Whilst this work is not without its challenges, it is also very rewarding. I also deal with instances of financial abuse and the management of significant personal injury awards.
