#TeamTalk Jessica: Curry, beer and teleportation!

This month, we spoke to Jessica Watkinson, a trainee solicitor for the Private Client team in Preston!

How did you decide on working in the private client area?

I started off at Birchall Blackburn in this area and have been here ever since. I love how every day brings something different!

What’s the most rewarding part of your career?

Working in the private client team means dealing with many clients who are often coping with bereavement. I think being able to offer help and support at this time and seeing how thankful the clients are is the most rewarding part.

Why Birchall Blackburn Law?

I came here as a teenager doing work experience and loved my experience at the time. I wanted to work in a North West based firm and found I fitted in well to working life at Birchall Blackburn.

Have you got any sports or hobbies?

I try and go to the gym a few times a week and also enjoy walking my dog (usually to the pub)

What’s your favourite food?

Curry or anything hot!

What type of music do you listen to?

Anything and everything although I’m a bit of a musical geek so anything from the West End.

Do you have a favourite book?

All the Harry Potter books.

What’s something you’re most proud of?

It’s not something but someone – my grandma, she’s an absolute hero!

Do you prefer summer or winter?

Is there something you can’t live without?

Curry and beer

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
