Careers: Last few days to apply for Training Contracts
There’s only a few days left to apply for our intake of trainee Solicitors. With over 330 staff in eight locations across the UK, Birchall Blackburn Law is offering a rotational training programme to give aspiring Solicitors the chance to qualify with experience in a new area of law every 6 months.
If you’re thinking of applying for our SRA Training Contracts, the deadline is 22nd May 2015, so don’t delay. The programme is open to internal and external candidates who have the enthusiasm and drive to join our high-growth firm.
If you’re hardworking, committed to excellence and enjoy being part of a lively team, we can’t wait to hear from you. Birchall Blackburn Law was named one of 2015’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain by the London Stock Exchange Group and is now searching for individuals who are ready to challenge themselves and progress their career.
How co-ordinated training helps you to reach your full potential
This is a proven, well-refined training programme, which we’ve successfully delivered for the last five years. Training is structured over 24 months and offers practical, first-hand experience of working in four different departments during the placement.
Michelle Fairhurst, Solicitor at Birchall Blackburn Law, completed her training placement with us. She said:
“I learnt something new every day! This provided for a really challenging and interesting training contract.”
Trainees gain an invaluably broad skill set, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious areas of law. After 2 years of new experiences and learning, trainees select the specialism they’d like to pursue.
Dedicated Training Partner to keep you on track
For the full 24 month period, each trainee’s Dedicated Training Partner coordinates their Birchall Blackburn Law Training Contract. This way, trainees receive the proper mentoring and support to help them reach their full potential. Training Partners collaborate with trainees to select and reserve seats based on preference, skill and requirements.
Michael Foxford, Partner at Birchall Blackburn Law, said:
“The quality of applicants this year has already been phenomenal so we’re excited to meet those who make it through the selection process. For anyone still thinking of applying, we’re looking for individuals who will make the most of this opportunity to experience a range of disciplines, as well as learn about the vital areas of legal practice that produce truly great Solicitors.”
Birchall Blackburn Law’s Training Contracts are open to individuals from any law school. This recognised training period is registered with the SRA and has been designed to help trainees get the most out of their career.
The deadline for applications is 22nd May, with a selection process in June and final assessment in July. Jump-start your career and apply here.
