Here at Birchall Blackburn Law, our Private Client Team is excited to again take part in the annual Wills Week campaign in support of St Catherine’s Hospice.
Wills Week this year runs from 11th to 15th November and, as always, appointments are booking up fast!
During Wills Week, we will be waiving our fees for writing basic wills in return for a donation to St Catherine’s Hospice. 100% of the amount donated goes directly to St Catherine’s to help fund the specialised care and services provided by the hospice to people affected by life-shortening conditions.
Cathy MacCracken, partner at Birchall Blackburn Law says, “Wills Week acts as the perfect reminder to ensure you have a valid will in place, as well as being an excellent opportunity to donate to St Catherine’s Hospice, an amazing local charity which is close to the hearts of so many people in our community.”
The hospice suggests a minimum donation of £95 for a single basic will, or £145 for a pair of mirror wills.
Kay Taylor, Senior Communications Officer at St Catherine’s Hospice, says: “We rely on our wonderful supporters to raise an incredible £3.5 million each and every year. Not only does Wills Week make a significant contribution to our fundraising efforts, it’s also a great way for us to support our community in planning for the future and ensuring their wishes are met.”
Make sure you check off one of the most vital points on your to do list next week whilst supporting the work of St Catherine’s Hospice.
