Jane Lockwood

I was recruited by the firm in 2002 and have worked as a Solicitor for a total of 6 years. In 2015 I was appointed  Partner. My expertise is in all areas of commercial property, especially acquisitions of commercial properties, new developments and plot sales. I also deal with sales and acquisitions of small businesses, including licensed premises, newsagents, nursing homes, dental practices and retail outlets.

Qualifications and professional achievements: LLB (Hons)

How did you end up working for a law firm? I studied law at A level and found that I enjoyed researching legislation and case law to find an answer to a question. After achieving an A grade I decided to continue studying law at university and pursue this career path.

Unusual fact: I started horse riding when I was two years old and as a child I competed at national events. Later, I competed in one and two day eventing in the British Eventing Horse Trials.
